Following the ICC's Annual Conference in Singapore, it has been confirmed that England will be the host nation for the next three World Test Championship (WTC) Finals.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced in a press release that England secured the hosting rights for the 2027, 2029, and 2031 WTC Finals due to their "successful track record in hosting recent finals."
England has previously hosted the finals of all three completed WTC cycles. The inaugural 2021 final was held in Southampton (relocated from Lord's due to COVID-19 restrictions). The Oval hosted the 2023 final, and Lord's will host the 2025 edition.
The ICC release also detailed the establishment of a support programme for displaced Afghan women cricketers. This initiative is a collaboration between the ICC, the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI), the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), and Cricket Australia.
The programme aims to provide structured support through:
This includes the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 in India and the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 in England.
The ICC welcomed two new Associate Members:
This brings the total number of Associate Members to 110.
